Last week, we hosted our first-ever East Bay "Wine & Whiskey Wednesdays" meetup, to huge success! Approximately 30 OrgOrg'ers gathered in a beautiful space next to Lake Merrit, for tacos and tequila (and wine), but most importantly, art and friendship. We collaborated, conversed, and colored on the table - it felt a little bit like being a kid at a restaurant, but kicked up quite a few notches.
It was truly a pleasure to connect with this group of men and women, away from our emails and away from our offices (we were required to put away our phones!), to get to know each other in a context other than the work-chatter we love in OrgOrg. It's great to talk shop, but sometimes it's great to unwind and get to know each other as people, too! Thank you to all who attended and made this such a fantastic night.
