On Wednesday, April 25th, 19 people from around the valley joined us at Casa Amigos in Old Town Scottsdale for OrgOrg Phoenix's first Admin Appreciation event. Doubling as the activity and the nosh for the night, we learned the art of making beautiful cheeseboards from local small business owner, Mahfam, of Mahfam Artisanal Handcrafted Foods. Mahfam specializes in providing exceptional service and small batch-crafted foods by creating custom menu items. You can find her goods in storefronts and markets all around Phoenix! Drawing upon her time working at a cheese shop, Mahfam educated us about appropriate pairings, what special ingredients to use to jazz up your board (hint: dark chocolate!), and suggested some unique wine and beer pairings (stout, anyone?).
